Baku is proud to host the International Astronautical Congress for the second time in history. Visiting Baku for the IAC, you will, beyond doubt, be inspired and left in awe by the many opportunities this unique city full of contrasts has to offer.
A city of both the past and the future, Baku is famously known for being an energetic, spirited, exhilarating capital reflecting the values of integrity, inclusivity, sustainability, and multiculturalism in its daily life. Come for the International Astronautical Congress and discover the many spectacular facets of Baku!
Ease of Access
People with physical limitations are taken to the second floor (where the halls are located) by VIP elevator and can only go to other floors by elevator. As for the auditorium hall (theatrical form), they can sit in the back rows by passing through the back door of the hall, or if it is necessary to sit in the front rows, then it is possible to bring them to the front row by installing a staircase consisting of 8 panels. If a person with physical disabilities needs to go on stage, then he can go backstage by elevator and go directly to the stage from backstage. Toilets are located on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors and there are cabins designed for physically disabled people in the toilets located in 4 general stations.
Immigration & Visa
The Host Country will ensure a simplified procedure of obtaining Azerbaijan visas for the Conference participants.
A single-entry visa for the period of the Conference will be issued by the Embassies (Consulates) of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the basis of an official Letter of Invitation.
